Steam Integration
Posted by Blaze February 23, 2012, 05:31:14 PM So the Steam integration has begun, and so has the new look! It should be a few weeks before I have a preview available. We have started a group on Steam (The Absolute Gaming Network) and will slowly integrate the steam group into our website.

If you have not created a Steam account yet, you should do so now! Look for our group on steam. We are trying to obtain more DotA 2 invites from valve so we can invite users who have joined the group. So join now!

We're still here and very much alive!

We have received many emails regarding whether or not further updates will be made to our gaming community and if we will continue to augment our network. Our original intentions for Absolute Gaming was to create one of the most unprecedented gaming networks on the web to incorporate one of the largest gaming communities to date.

It's evident that this website is geared towards the popular RTS game known as Legends of DotA. I hate to say it, but this is where our downfall lies. The LoD community is not large enough to create an ultimate gaming website and community.

Needless to say, we will be expanding across several gaming platforms to bring a variety of players into our community. The diversity of players will hopefully generate more traffic and interest into our website/services. You may think that this is solely for the purpose of popularity - but it is not. Bringing more players into the community will help create a parity between our sponsored game, Legends of DotA, and other gaming platforms.

We thank all of you for being part of our community and helping us keep the website agile. Without the communities support, Absolute Gaming and Clan Sun's existence would not be possible.

Tournament registration and format (Registration period is limited!)

Registration peroid ends at the 7th of Septermber so that i strongly suggest you register ASAP.
On September the 7th the registration will be closed and team captains will be announced according to rank.

(example: if we have 30 players 6 captains will be chosen and so on)
Then the drafting begins ^^
I'll open another thread with the player pool we have for the tournament and the captains will begin the draft
I feel that this format will open up our community since I've noticed we have many constant players groups playing mostly with each other
(including myself, since pubbing is dangerous!@!$ with all the baddies rotating in LoD games these days ).
So mostly this will give many you guys a chance to play with players you perhaps haven't had the chance to play much with and perhaps make a few 'dream teams' composed of players you wouldn't usualy see
playing together.
As to time and date here is a link to the poll (though i am not too keen about the idea, it seems that atm
the tournament will be held during buttseks as far as the majority of votes go).

If you think you are likely to be one of the captains feel free to mention your rank both to display propperly
the size of your gaming penis and make my life a little easier when it comes to announcing the captains.
Drafting shall be done in a seperate thread so for now... Register!

(If you are playing on a account and are better known on another i suggest you mention your AKA since
noname accounts will not be accepted into registration to keep the draft fair).

(format is going to be something creative and very fun! gonna be a SURPRISE!)
If neither dates are good please say so and if a majority finds these dates uncomfortable we can always
reschedule.

Stats reset

Posted by Blaze July 31, 2011, 07:32:27 PM I will be picking up some new moderators to help get the forum back on it's feet. Additionally, I will updating the user control panel. Pay attention to this as you will see the new LoD release in one of your modules.

I'll be working extensively on the website to further it's purpose into the gaming community; this means I will be adding new content to the website to not solely serve the needs of a Warcraft III community. Don't be alarmed when content is rearranged!
